What does it take in 2007 to get hordes of exciteable traffic brandishing oodles of cash?

Web site traffic is a huge can of worms and includes:

Seo's new 2-prongs (latent semantic indexing and authority site recognition), jv link/article exchange, forum posting, Visitor bookmarking and other social sites such as Digg and Squidoo, Syndication via rss, article submissions and press releases. That's just off the top of my head real quick. There's a lot!

On this page I am compiling the resources I most highly recommend as of 2007.

Using Google Adwords is THE fastest way to get a lot of traffic over to your site . If you want sudden 'spontaneous' traffic, go for Adwords. Submit - | Engines | Directories | Indexes

I don't advise submitting your website to search engines until you are making money online. The three you need to get listed on are Google, Yahoo, and MSN. And that will happen automatically via the rest of your web site traffic activities.

Find Directories by searching on google for the word directory plus your target niche keywords (see Niche Market Research and Selection ). Submit your sites to the Directories.

Social Bookmarking

Open accounts with Social Bookmarking sites and add your own webpage to them so that people who use the sites can find your links. Do a search on google for Social Bookmarking Sites. Particular goodies are Technorati, Delicious, Furl, and Digg.

Go for Aweber (I use it). It's reliable, lots of features, and not expensive given what it does for you.

If you want email autoresponder with shopping cart and affiliate management software then go for 1 Shopping Cart .

Sticky Sites - (getting visitors to come back)

Capture traffic using Dynamic Popup Generator .

Give Incentives to come back: Membership, Forum, User Functions, etc.

Make your site viral by adding tell-a-friend functions, affiliate program, etc. In fact, there is a script I use that's only $7, and it could have easily been sold for $97. The 7 Dollar Offer Script.
