Pick a broad topic of personal interest to you.
Example a: Perhaps you are interested in Alfred Korzybski's work on general semantics and linguistics. Well that is quite a narrow niche. So what is the broadest markets relevant? Linguistics, Thought, Epistemology, etc. So those would be your starting markets.
Example b: Perhaps you are interested in how to pot daisies. Well that would be a very small niche out fo the broad markets such as Gardening and Flowers.
What you want is a market with beginners , and LOTS of them - because such markets are probably highly active so you will sell to them more easily and more often.
